Users have the ability to anonymously report instances of unsafe and/or
dangerous situations to fellow users within their campus communities. The
goal is to maintain a safe space where users can report the experiences
and observations that often go unheard of and unshared. With that being
said, in no way is Livelihood’s report system meant to replace emergency
services. We strongly encourage users to call 911 or to get in contact
with their campus security if they feel as though they or someone they
know is in danger, or if they are a witness to a dangerous situation.
Livelihood’s foundation is built on…
Alliance: to be able to create a support system that aids women and
non-binary college students in making a safe and well-informed community.
Reliability: to be able to rely on and trust others within your community
in order to maintain a safe and happy environment.
Anonymity: to be able to share your experiences with others without fear
of judgment, exposure, or oversharing
Accessibility: to be able to get the down-low on what exactly is happening
on and around your campus in an easy, on-the-go alternative
Physical Safety: to be able to share important information with your
fellow users that has the potential to help and/or save lives
In-App Safety: to be able to thrive in your community through trust,
respect, and a sense of security - therefore, hateful and/or threatening
speech, excessively graphic and/or violent content, illegal activity,
abusive and/or toxic behavior, impersonation, harassment, and spam will
not be tolerated, and will result in automatic termination of your
account.
